Assessment

Breast augmentation with fat implants starts with a detailed consultation with the surgeon. Our utmost priority is your safety, so we dedicate particular efforts and time to the pre-surgery process.

Breast augmentation takes about 3 to 4 hours. Depending on the patient’s requirements, it is performed under local or general anesthesia. Your surgeon may also ask you to wear BRAVA Protocol to expand your breast tissues before the fat grafting procedure. It is a device usually worn for 10 to 12 hours daily for a few weeks to ensure the surgery goes as planned.

Liposuction to Extract Fat

Breast fat grafting includes liposuction in the areas close to the breast. At NexGen, we use PureGraft for fat collection, processing, and purification. The process starts with the surgeon removing fat from the fat regions using advanced technologies. Then, they insert a special cannula by making small incisions and moving it back and forth to loosen up the fat cells.

The dislodged fat is then suctioned out through a syringe attached to the cannula. These incisions are then stitched, which usually heal or become invisible after the recovery.

Fat Purification and Transplant

The extracted fat cells are processed to eliminate excess fluids and keep good fat. Dr. Yamini uses an efficient filtration system to separate contaminations from the blood, including blood, fluids, and oil, while keeping it sterile. The result is way more purified and superior to traditional methods. This quality fat is then transplanted into the patient’s breasts to give them the desired shape and bust line.

Post-Surgery Care

Stay in touch with your board-certified surgeon at NexGen after the procedure and follow their post-care guidelines for quicker healing. You will experience swelling, bruising, and discomfort in the surgical sites. The pain will be barely felt. Bruising and swelling are likely to stay up to three weeks.

Your surgeon will recommend a compression garment instead of a regular bra. You must wear it for two weeks and then move to a sports bra for three months. These undergarments will provide your breasts with the ideal support.

Recovery

The recovery time for this breast augmentation usually varies based on the areas from where the surgeon extracted the fat. Complete recovery will take about 4 to 6 months. After breast augmentation with fat transfer, most patients return to their work routine within two weeks maximum. It can even be just a few days for minor liposuction cases. You can start your regular workout routine in two weeks, depending on how fast your body heals from the surgery.
